The cutest baby EVER!

I'm not even lying, she is the cutest baby ever! Even though I only got to see Peyton for a day, I was so excited to spend some time with my niece. I think we can all agree she's beautiful, but you should also know that she's also pretty much the smartest baby ever. I asked her to give me a kiss, and she did that open-mouth baby kissing thing, and it was really, really cute. She kept doing it over, and over, so I know she did it on purpose. I can't wait to see her at Thanksgiving!!!!! Oh, and that's right, she's totally giving me a hug in the first picture. I just LOVE her!!!!!!

The cutest thing EVER!

I bought a house (eight months ago)!!!

I bought a house in September! It's been a very exciting, very expensive last eight months as a homeowner. The house has three bedrooms, two baths and a really open floor plan that I love! I'm here with just my little doggy, so if you're ever in the area, feel free to come stay with me! When I first got the house, the living room was painted a dark red color, and the bedroom was burnt orange. Now, while I love UT, I'm not sure that's the statement I want to make with my bedroom! I repainted the living room a light green color, and my bedroom a slate blue color. I've also purchased real couches! Some of these pictures are taken before the couch purchase, but you get the idea.

My favorite niece

I know it's been a while, so I'll just start with the more recent events and work my way back. In May, Andy went to Ireland for work, so, with a little help from some friends, I flew to St. Louis to spend a few days with Lisa and Peyton (my new niece). I really, really love that little baby, and it was a lot of fun to spend time with my sis-in-law without Andy there! While we were there, we took Peyton swimming for the first time. Mostly, I think it was an excuse for us to put her in her cute swimsuit, but she seemed to enjoy it okay. Anyway, here's some pics from the trip!
I wonder who picked out this fabulous outfit?!

A Great Blog

I don't know if it's real or not, but I love it.

Yankee Stadium

Dad decided he wanted to see a game in Yankee Stadium before the last season was over, so he and I went to a game (I'm always up for a trip to NY, and I'm the new baseball stadium traveling buddy). It was really incredible to see so much history, even if I do hate the Yankees. We had a great time and I was glad we went!

Too many things!

I have way, way, way too many things to blog about. It's my goal to post the biggies here by the end of the week, but we'll see what happens. I do want to share a fantastic experience from earlier today...
I got to work and my computer screen was blank, which was odd, because the computer was turned on. I turned it off, and turned it back on, and the screen started up with the Windows XP thingy, but then it went blank again. This happened several times, so I called the help desk. They "escalated my ticket," so I'm sure my computer will be fixed in the next 6 months.

Meanwhile, I was sort of freaking out because I had some things saved on the hard drive. I should've learned my lesson when this same computer's hard drive had to be erased a year or two ago, but I'm a slow learner. Anyway, I really needed to get the items on the hard drive and transfer them to my jump drive, but the computer would not stay on! Finally (and, why is it always finally, instead of first?) I said a quick prayer that my computer would work long enough for me to transfer the files I needed. When I looked up, the computer was working! I got all my files moved over and then when I started working on something else, the screen just went blank again and hasn't worked any more for the rest of the day. It was a computer miracle (which is not as good as a Christmas miracle, but still a miracle)!
